March 21st marks the 3rd anniversary of the passing of my friend Darrell Keller. All sale profits from my private collection will be matched and donated in support the efforts to find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer.

Thanks Dana, for the past 2-yrs we have sponsored a charity bike rally to raise awareness to help fight Pancreatic Cancer. With the economy being what it is we will probably just meet at Darrell's old watering hole and raise our glasses in his honor...!

Darrell loved life. He was so much to so many people. He was charismatic, joyful, a friend to all, even to someone he just met, always ready to ride his Harley, kind hearted as well as tough as nails. Darrell always wore a smile; never a bad word toward anyone. He loved his fast cars and motorcycles but he also loved family time and nature. Darrell lost his battle to Pancreatic Cancer March 21, 2010. ~ "To those who have ridden these roads before, Thank You - Darrell was a man who drank hard, rode fast, and died too young... we miss you brother."

He would paint long into the early mornings; I remember looking forward to joining him Saturdays and Sundays at San Diego’s Balboa Park, showing his paintings to hundreds of folks walking in among the trees. I have always been able to depict subjects as they appear; I consider myself a ‘realist’ an artist who believes in the ideology of ‘objective reality’. Realism has always been my strength; I excelled in higher education to obtain my Art degrees; schools in industrial arts, drafting, and graphic design; as my focus began to narrow I devoted my efforts in the study of medical illustration while...
