Artist's Description
Cathedral near Ponte Milvio, one of the oldest bridges across the Tiber River in Rome, dating back to the second century BC. The famous battle between Costantine and Massenzio took place here, in the combat for the Imperial throne. The neighbourhood offers a rich assortment of typical Romabn restaurants, trattorie, bar, and pizzerie. You can take stroll along the romantic Tiber River or rent bicycles and ride down the bike lane which will take you to St. Peters and the spectacular Castel S. Angelo in just 20 minutes. On the last Sunday of every month there is an open-air antique/flea market set up along the river, where you can find all sorts of italian relics from the past. For passionately fond of football and athletics at only 200 metres there is the OLIMPIC STADIUM. For passionately fond of tennis there is FORO ITALICO, home of italian international championship of tennis.
